Interested in Joining Civitan?
Giving through volunteering is the life of Civitan -- But we are in return gifted with great fellowship, learning and experiences!
At our club meetings, we hear from community, business and government leaders who provide informative and entertaining programs on the issues that affect us and our families the most.
We are dedicated to improving our communities through community service. On the international level, Civitan focuses on helping people with developmental disabilities. Civitan funds the Civitan International Research Center, a research and treatment facility for developmental disabilities and special needs.
On the local level, we are involved in a variety of fund-raising and service projects. The Great Southwest District Civitan Clubs realize the importance of offering members opportunities for personal and professional development, as well as the opportunity to meet new friends and develop long-lasting relationships with people who share similar interest. Your Club Treasurers bill members for dues periodically (Varies by club). These dues are based upon what the club board of directors and members have agreed upon.
